Clean Fun (1969-1972): They started as Pan de Sal w/ Ritchie Razon (Bob's younger bro) as the original guitarist, Colby de la Calzada on bass & Uly Avante on drums & lead vocals; Ray-an Fuentes (later w/ the New Minstrels) joined as vocalist in '72. Clean Fun band was a core part of an elite family of bands which included Destiny, Aunt Irma & Mother Earth where talents were shared/shuffled for musical pursuits more than anything else. Erratics (formed at R. Aquino Compound in F. Ortigas St. in Madaluyong, Rizal in the early 60’s and was managed by Nani Fajardo, owner of a Music Store in Manila. The band played in TV shows like The Nineteeners for quite sometime as well as in schools and parties like other bands did): The band members were; Alvin Balagtas III (drummer & vocals), King Balagtas (vocalist), +Vic Naldo (lead guitarist & vocals, his first group before forming ANAKBAYAN, now deceased), Gotleng (bassist & vocals), Tony Alfonso (rhythm guitarist & vocals) and Tito Bautista (lead guitarist after Vic Naldo under the new management of Uncle Joe Shaw).

Fastback Mustangs 2+2: The band was managed by Paul Reyes & owned by Ceferino Manacsa. The band members were; Benjie Saldua - keyboards, Ed Aguila - bass/vocals, Neci Cojuangco - vocals/rhythm guitar, Bobby Ochangco - drums & Bob Lesaca - lead guitar.

Flintstones (played at Savoy Hotel): Rene Sogueco-keyboards, Ting Bernabe-vocal, Bobot Guerrero-drummer, Boboy Villegas-bass guitar, Chris (formerly with Falcons)-lead guitar and the horns section were Clod Baria-trombone, Bobby-sax/flute and Bert-trumpet.

Funk Campaign: Tony Baun - keyboards (former member of Black Opinion), Jojie - vocal, Danny "Mayor" Juaneza - 2nd keyboard/soundman, Elmer - 2nd lead guitar, Dong Gica - bass guitar (joined the Technicolors a year later), Horacio "Baby" Jongko - lead guitar (younger brother of Vic Jongko of the Howlers), Francisco "Jun" Vidal - drums. They played around 1974-75 at Harlem Club (Olongapo) & then at Crazy Horse Disco and Brau House (Tokyo, Japan).

Glenmore band: Lead Guitar - Jun Raymundo, Victor Cruz (deceased during his time with the Versatiles band); Bass Guitar - Nandy Angulo, Freddie Dimalanta; Keyboard - Mike Hanopol; Drummer - Jay Husfelt (now in California), Boy Diaz; Vocals - Boy Camara - Jesus Christ, Superstar fame, Niki Domingo (now in California) and Jun Jacinto (deceased). Other members were Oca Mutera-drums (+deceased 1987) & Gerry Gibson Rejuso-keyboard (1976-1985).

Houserockers: Mike Fernandez & Carlito Catral on lead vocals/percussions, Dimpling Ledesma on lead guitar, Sonny Panis on keyboards, Ato Quitoriano on bass guitar and Ramon Eleazar on drums.

The Howlers: Andre Wilson - vocal, Bobby Siliona (original member) - lead guitar, Vic Villavicencio. Tony Aguilar became the lead vocalist when Andre Wilson. The band main repertoire were the Tower Of Power tunes.

The Hotstuffs (The Associations of the Philippines) Managed by E. Tablante

The Imperials: The original members were; Jun Caberte - lead guitarist, Andy Caberte - keyboards, Bobby Laigo - vocalist, Cindy Caberte - vocals, Jun De Guzman - bass guitar, Boy De Guzman - drummer/manager & Monching Chan - rhythm guitar. ... and later on that came aboard were; Oscar Asor - keyboard and Cholo Santiago - lead vocal. Others who played for the Imperials also were: Mon Burgos {Jet Blacks}, Rene Enriques {Hot Dogs}, Jun Alanon {Boy K}, Teoddy Y {Clubmen}, Ed Agdepa {Birth of the Cool}, Francis Mandap {Jet Blacks} and Gerry Lagman - vocals. Jovials: Rene Rivera (drummer/vocals)

Juan de la Cruz (JDLC) Band: "Up In Arms" (early 1972), JDLC's 1st album, members were: Wally Gonzales - lead guitar, Clifford Ho - bass guitar, Rene S. - keyboards, Manny Santos - alto/baritone sax/flute/clarinet, Sandy Tagarro - drums. Sandy left the band & Bobot Guerrero (drums) posed for the Up In Arms album photo. Mid-1972 & on, others became JDLC members: +Edmund Fortuno - drum (deceased), Joey "Pepe" Smith - vocal/drummer, Mike Hanapol - vocal/guitar, Bing Labrador, Gig Ilacad - bass guitar, +Lito Guanco - keyboard (deceased).

Judas (formerly the Sparks band):

Jungle Cats: The original members were Nilo Santos (drums), Eddie "Bokeng" Garcia (bass), and Joseph Ungson (rhythm/singer). Other latter band members were Tony Aranzamendez (bass), Nides Arranzemendez (drums), Poldy Aranzamendez (lead guitar). Played mostly Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton & other rock tunes.

Jungle Entry (Jungle Cats & Post Entry bands merged together): Nilo Santos (vocals), Danny Sanchez (drums/vocal), Jimmy Mendez (keyboards), Eddie Sioson (bass) & Poldy Aranzamendez (lead guitar).

Junk Factory: Members were Boy Royyo and Jane Villanueva, main vocalists, Butch Lara as the lead guitarist, Rico Velez on bass, Mon Alberto on keyboards, Lollie Florencio on second lead and Robert Villagracia on drums. They played the music by David Bowie (Space Oddity) , the Allman Brothers' band, Eric Clapton (Bell Bottom Blues), R&Bs, James Taylor and well selected pieces.

Junks Five and 3/4 (circa 1973): Pocholo Manipon - lead singer/guitarist, Butch Lara - vocal/guitarist, Larry Man (former keyboardist), Mon Alberto - keyboard, Tibo Chua - drums (now in US), & Bobby Fider - bass. The band regularly appeared in Tina Revilla and Ariel Ureta's Noontime Matinee TV Show. The group was managed by Litos Benavidez.

Kamagong: Sammy Climaco (lead guitar)

The Kingsmen: Ray Fabi - vocal/vibraphone (original member), Ignacio "Hady" Watanabe - 2nd guitar, Ador - lead guitar, Manny - keyboards, Lino - bass guitar and Jun Vidal - drums. Circa 1976-77, played at Playboy Room @ Sierra Club (Olongapo) and Zero Club (Yokohama, Japan).

The Local Zombies: Bert Acdan

Lord Bees: Rene Rivera (drums/vocals)

Lumberjacks: Chito Sibayan (guitar/vocals>, Boy Jongko (lead guitar), Vic Jongko (drums), Art Jongko (bass guitar), Rolly Ramos (keyboards) and Boy Aquino/Robert So (band managers). The Lumberjacks had 70 singles & 3 LPs during the 60s & 70s. The band earned THE BEST VOCAL GROUP during the 1969 Awit Awards in Manila for their 2nd LP album that was composed/produced by Danny Subido.

The Lunatics (regulars of the Niteowl Dance Party until the Celtics took over): Dado Amores (lead guitar), Ronnie Parina (bass guitar), Edmund Fortuno (drums)

The Madcaps (circa 1960-1965, the combo used to play in Bob Stewart's Channel 7 TV show): The original members were Julius Caesar Estacio (lead guitar), Jing Hernandez (rhythm guitar), Rey Ileto (bass guitar, lead guitar from '63) and Gerry Palencia (drums). Later members were Johnny Salientes/Benny Jalandoni (bass guitar) & Jun Salientes (drums).

Maria Cafra (formerly the Psyclones): Resty Fabunan (lead guitar), +Jun Fabunan (bass, died last June 2002), Snaffu Rigor & Flor Mendoza on drums/percussions & Jojo Espino.

Megatone: Pete Aristorenas Jr. & Sol Ibarle on guitars, Freddie Webb on drums.

Million Faces: Baby Dizon - Manager/Owner; then Danny Sumulong played Lead Guitar with the group and eventually became the Manager/Owner; Bobby Vett - Lead Vocals; Renato "Ato" Quitoriano - Lead Guitar/Vocals; Bing Basco - Bass Guitar; Sonny Panis - Keyboards & Rey Tolentino - Drums.

Mind's Interpretation (1968-1969): Johnny Custodio (drums/manager), Ernie Vinuya (keyboards), Jojo Monroy (bass guitar), Sammy Climaco (lead guitar), Jess Dungan (rhythm guitar/vocals) & Ben "kabayo" de Jesus (vocals).

Montereys (band was composed of Army Brats from Camp Aguinaldo, played mostly parties & a few college concerts in Manila): Edgar "Ega" Bueno (lead vocalist), Peter Bersola (lead guitar), Robert "Butog" Bersola (rythm guitar), Howard "Long Tall" Medina (bass) and Omie Hernandez (drums).

The Originals: Ramon Eleazar - drummer/vocals, Pete Aristorenas - lead guitar/vocals, Benny Hufano - bass guitar & vocals, Rocco Nishi - keyboards/vocals and Sonny Beacher - lead vocals/rhythm guitar (+deceased late 80s).
